The National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work aims to facilitate the operation of a nationally uniform, competency based licensing system for persons performing certain types of high risk work.
A person also requires a high risk work (HRW) licence to perform the following work, however we DO NOT currently provide training for:
- Scaffolding – Basic, Intermediate and Advanced
- Rigging – Advanced
- Hoist operation materials hoist; personnel and materials hoist
- Vehicle mounted concrete placing boom
- Pressure equipment operation
On-site Course Delivery
Where courses are conducted on-site then a suitable venue (which can accommodate up to 8 people), a projector screen or blank wall and/or a white board are to be provided by the client company. The venue shall have sufficient space for the participants to be seated comfortably for the duration of the theory training. Practical assessment will require the use of the relevant equipment and tools and time/area allocated to allow participants to be assessed without interruption. Any costs shall be borne by the client company. Please contact us if there is any difficulty in providing these facilities and equipment.
Where the training is conducted outside the immediate Perth metro area then additional costs will be applicable. Any air fares, travel, accommodation, meals and materials freight incurred in the provision of this training will be charged at cost. Mileage will be charged at 70c (plus GST) per kilometre and travelling time will be charged at our standard rates. Please contact us for a formal quotation for courses conducted outside of Perth.
