This course is suitable for anyone over the age of 18 and with the ability to understand, read and write English to a satisfactory level for working in Australia. Basic knowledge of mathematics is also required to work out formulas. It is also advisable, but not compulsory to hold a HR/MR drivers licence and/or dogging licence for the course.
However, if you are going to drive the crane on the roads, you are required by law to hold a HR/MR drivers licence depending on the crane.
On successful completion of this course participants will be presented with a Statement of Attainment for the Nationally Recognised Unit of Competency TLILIC0012 – Licence to operate a vehicle loading crane (capacity 10 metre tonnes and above).
