Confined Spaces Course Details
RIIWHS202E Enter and Work in Confined Spaces is delivered by industry experts over 3.5 hours and covers a wide range of topics, including:
Risk Assessment and Hazard Recognition – You will learn how to identify potential hazards associated with confined spaces, including atmospheric hazards, physical hazards, and environmental hazards. You will be taught to assess risks systematically and develop strategies to mitigate or eliminate them.
Safe Entry and Exit Procedures – Proper entry and exit procedures are crucial for ensuring your safety and that of other workers in the confined space. Our training courses covers techniques for entering and exiting confined spaces safely, including the use of harnesses, lifelines, and other personal protective equipment (PPE).
Atmospheric Monitoring and Ventilation – You’ll also learn how to conduct atmospheric testing and monitoring to assess air quality and identify associated potential hazards such as oxygen deficiency, toxic gases, and combustible vapours. You will learn about the importance of ventilation and how to set up and maintain ventilation systems effectively.
Emergency Response and Rescue Procedures – In the event of an emergency, quick and effective response is critical. Our confined space training course teaches you how to recognise emergency situations, initiate emergency procedures, and perform rescue operations safely and efficiently.
